OC Transpo, The History of Transit in Ottawa

Ahead of the 200th anniversary of the founding of Bytown (Ottawa), OC Transpo came to our team looking for creative recommendations for an installation in Rideau Station. From there, we developed a comprehensive look into the history of their organization, from 1870 onward. As we worked through the design, it became clear that we would be using their well-curated archive of imagery to help tell the story of transit through the ages. Between the two walls of the tunnel, we have created an immersive story that details and shows how OC Transpo has helped move Ottawa and its citizens forward for the past 150 years.
